How long does the Home Study Course take?
The Home Study is a work at your own pace class. If you go by the guidelines for the course, it should take about 21 days to complete. It just depends on how much time you want to spend a day with the course and how fast you learn.
What happens after the class?
The student will receive an affidavit to take to the DMV so they can get their permit. Then they can start driving with their parents.

They have 13 months to have all of the drive time completed. This starts the month the student starts the class.
How far apart do the drive times need to be set up?
The first drive time is done after they have been driving with parents or guardians for 5 to 6 hours. The second and third drive times need to be completed before the end of the contractual agreement.
